"It was a pleasure to work on a contemporary Jewish Musical such as THE ROLE MODEL. The music is great and the kids are learning about Jewish history in a fun, creative way. There is such a need for this type of theater and I am delighted to have discovered Cara Freedman's work!"

"We have produced The Role Model, The Tower, Happily Ever Now and A Higher Ground. Cara Freedman's shows are some of the best teaching vehicles I know. The music is terrific and the kids love performing the shows. No one really realizes how much they have learned until the shows are over. From working on Cara's Shows as their entry to involvement at Temple, many adults have gone on to sit on or chair other Beth Am committees and projects. What an impact!"

About "Esther"

Step into the royal castle in the land of Shushan and participate with King Ahashverosh, Queen Vashti, the humble Palace Guards, Queen Esther, Mordechai, Wicked Haman, Royal Chefs and Court Jesters as they sing, dance, and Rap their way through THE BOOK OF ESTHER.

Notes:

  • This show is a great vehicle to show off a variety of talent in your organization. Besides the singing and dancing inherent in any musical production, you have the opportunity to utilize musicians of all kinds, amateur or professional. Jugglers, magicians, gymnasts, opera stars, fire breathing circus acts, and pet horses can make appearances.
