"Our children still talk about how much they enjoyed putting on A SYMBOL OF CHANUKAH. Our Temple thoroughly enjoyed Cara Freedman's Production!"

-- Cantor Rebecca Garfein

Riverdale Temple, Bronx, New York
"We have produced The Role Model, The Tower, Happily Ever Now and A Higher Ground. Cara Freedman's shows are some of the best teaching vehicles I know. The music is terrific and the kids love performing the shows. No one really realizes how much they have learned until the shows are over. From working on Cara's Shows as their entry to involvement at Temple, many adults have gone on to sit on or chair other Beth Am committees and projects. What an impact!"

-- Cantor Kay Greenwald

Congregation Beth Am, Palo Alto California

About "The Role Model"

In order for Evan to take part in his class project of a rock video, he must decide who his role model is. Journey with Evan back in time for a dazzling musical look at Jewish history, with appearances from Theodore Herzl, Hannah Sennesh, Albert Einstein, Sandy Koufax, and a host of delightful visitors! In the end, the class creates a music video that ties the past with the present, and helps everyone understand how historical heroes are very relevant to Jews today.
