SIGN UPON YOUR HAND Notes: A SIGN UPON YOUR HAND NOTES: This show is short yet very powerful! Set in a religious school classroom, the unruly students have yet to keep a steady teacher. When an unsuspecting friend of the principal comes along to step in for a day, he and the students find they are in for more than they ever imagined. The story unfolds and the emotions pour! This production received a standing ovation at the Central Conference of American Rabbis in Anaheim. A SIGN UPON YOUR HAND was featured on the national TV show 48 hours in November 1999. The musical finale, ONE BY ONE, was exclusively used by the Jewish Federations' annual campaign and the opening number, GOTTA DO A MITZVAH NOW has been used by congregations all over the country for Mitzvah day. Use an interpreter in the rehearsal process and for the production. Prepare to be amazed! A SIGN UPON YOUR HAND uses an inexpensive, easy set. (YEAH!) The costumes are mostly street clothes in the latest fashions. (Check out the current GAP ads.) This is a fabulous touring show. Allow the audience to ask questions after the show. You can prepare Q and A's to be discussed in the classrooms after the show. |
